The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) recently announced that Raleigh-based ROCKin’teriors has been named 2019 “Fabricator of the Year” world-wide. The award is chosen by association members and presented to the company that in the past year has best exemplified ISFA ideals of excellence in quality, innovation, character and exemplary service to the decorative surfacing industry.
“We are humbled to be recognized as Fabricator of the Year world-wide by the International Surface Fabricators Association,” said Laura Grandlienard, ROCKin’teriors founder.
ROCKin’teriors is an eco-friendly stone fabrication and installation company, also distinguished by the fact that it is the Triangle region’s only woman-owned fabricator.
“This is our industry’s highest honor and reflects our team-wide commitment to serve the creative designs and unique projects for homeowners, builders, architects and interior designers,” said Grandlienard.
Other organizations recognized at the 2019 ISFA Annual Conference held in Scottsdale, Arizona: INDEKO won the ISFA Innovator Award; Wilsonart won the ISFA Envision Award; and Raleigh-based Caragreen was named Associate of the Year.
“We aspire to serve our industry with the highest level of sustainability and customer service in the fabrication and installation of natural stone and sintered stone for our clients,” said Grandlienard.
ROCKin’teriors is one of only five North Carolina companies accredited by the Natural Stone Institute to fabricate quartzite, marble, granite, travertine, limestone, quartz, onyx and other natural stones. The company is also the Triangle’s first certified fabricator of sintered stone from NeoLith, Dekton by Cosentino and Lapitec, plus high-end quartz products from Cambria, Caesarstone, and other semi-precious surfaces. Only 94 companies have achieved accreditation among the industry’s 17,000 stone fabricators in North America.
The International Surface Fabricators Association is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to helping its members become more profitable through education, fostering professionalism and promoting the countertop industry.
